End of season – A discussion was held regarding the possibility of an end of season event and the format that could be taken. It was decided that we would aim to have an event of some kind once restrictions were lifted and this would be arranged over ideally one day in team slots. Regarding trophies, it was decided that as the teams had hardly played this season due to Covid lockdowns, that it would be unfair to have the usual five additional trophies this year and so all players will receive a medal to show they are a valued member of the club only. The trustees chose a boxed medal which will be engraved 2020/2021 SEYFC and team name/age.

Winter training – it was decided that SCC had been very good to hire from and were extremely quick at returning funds taken when covid shut the venue. Will continue to use them for 2021/22 season, good costings, pitches and management of booking. Tracy to contact SCC and enquire about booking slots October to end March 2022.

Gareth Hart put in a request to bring his adult team to Sheerness East and play Saturday football. It was decided that as there are already 4 adult teams using the pitch – 2 Saturday and 2 Sunday, plus youth teams (u15 this season, next season 2 x u12 teams plus u16 team) that it would be too much for the pitch to host, however if any team dropped out, this could be reassessed. Permission given to use the SEFC name and play at either Leysdown or Oasis 3g if possible.

Current adult teams are paying subs etc on time and will remain for season 2021/22 if they desire. Pitch fees set at £40 per match as before.

9 v 9 = U11 Youth/Dynamos, U11 Tornados, U12 Youth, U12 Rangers, Girls squad – size 4 footballs 11 v 11 = U15 – size 5 footballs
Colts/Champions training for 5-7 and 7plus years.

Adult pitch and 9 v 9 to stay where they are, 7 v 7 and 5 v 5 to use same pitch area either in L shape or 5 v 5 inside. Area behind goals on adult pitch to be kept as a training area.

Registration to remain at £25 for 2021/22 season, subs to remain £10 and £20 for those playing matches.

The club remains interested in the land belonging to the old Halfway Houses Primary School for training/matches. Gary to contact Andy Booth to see if there is any support available from councillors. Cameron Beart also approached.

Plans are in place for verti-draining pitches.

Plans to purchase a new mower with grass pick up facility discussed. Possibly with KCC funding.

Floodlights are being purchased/renovated.

Tracy to contact Kent FA regarding facilities funding.

Kit to be purchased for coaches. Will contact coaches for sizes.

The accounts are sent out via email to al coaches and managers for them to look through and point out any discrepancies. Meetings are held on a regular basis with all the managers and coaches the balance sheets are discussed at these meetings too. A breakdown of the balance sheets is also sent out with pending income on pending out going on and any large payments explained.

Most childrens subs are now paid via bank direct debit so less cash is handled by the managers and coaches. Letters are sent out to the parents who are considerably behind on payments of monthly subs.
