During the year, the Charity has worked with
I those recovering from addiction, those with
mental
health challenges. those facing isolated
¢ir¢umstances, vulnerable students, as well
members of
the general public.
Particularly of note was our feedback from
one organisation who reported that, not only
were
individual beneficianes expenence real life
change. but there was a significant shift in
the
well-being of the community based on the
work of the Chartty in this particular
locational
community.
The Team have proved SUC￿$sful at Bristol
University and the well-being sessions
continue to
be a popular core event for the welcome
week and throughout the term.
One student summed up part of the value of
the work in their feedbad('.

from.
This is particularly importanl due to the high
levels of suicide ideation in the student
population.
Once again. well over 1000 students have
received help and support at our regular
events.
The general public experientsd the drop-in
sessions in the Bath cafe and the feedback
has
requested that this becomes a more regular
event. due to the benefit people were
experiencing
In overcoming Isolation and the positive
benefits of the sessions on offer
This has encouraged us lo look at how this
can be resourced going forwards.
Funding has steadily resumed a settled

successfully

One particular success of overcoming
isolation and working effectively with
communities. is
eVIden￿d by the way the communrties and
the Charity have worked togelher
seamlessly as
one Team locationally. We particularly
reciate this a5 not onl do we seek to

communrties. but partner together. They
provide the extra local knowledge of need
and
strengths in each community so we can be
effective at harnessing strengths and
meeting needs
to benefrt both individuals and the whole.
Our feedback this year suggests we have
been successful in both regards.
