The advancement of health and well-being for the public benefit. Contributing to the relief of persons suffering from emotional and mental health challenges. Through the provision of stress relieving health and well-being sessions and innovative mindfulness and listening sessions, which improve peoples connectivity with themselves and one another, for the well-being of the whole person – body, mind and soul.

The charity offers taster sessions of relaxing professional massage, live music, compassionate listening services and engaging well-being and mindfulness sessions, online and in everyday spaces like cafes and university halls. These inclusive, social spaces build a sense of community, and create links between communities to overcome isolation. They positively impact the emotional well-being of the whole person and the community beyond the sessions. New Resilience and Wellbeing Courses, address the crisis of identity which prevents people from fulfilling their full potential.

Section D Achievements and performance
**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**
In what has been a challenging year for charities, this year there has been an increase in the number of those who engage with our events in different Communities, venues and organisations. Despite the funding challenges of the current financial climate, we have been able to sustain the Charity’s operations, and securely achieve the aims and objectives in 2022 to serve those with mental health needs, vulnerable students, the recovery community, and coerced and trafficked women.
At the heart of these successes has been the exceptional contribution made by existing and new, staff and volunteers ensuring the success of events. The relational engagement with individual attendees beside service provision, been authentic. As a result, not only have we seen individuals and communities benefit from the sessions and from our new identity and resilience workshops, but we have seen communities being strengthened and formed around the events. There has been a blending of the events into community, with the attendees, who bring their own skills, commitment and desire to help. Their areas of strength not only enhance the events, but also allow them to experience that sense of belonging, purpose and contribution. Research and interviews into the individual communities have been invaluable and have ensured that our events are meeting real needs in the community, by the community and for the communities where we work. Our new Resilience and Identity workshops have added to people reporting feeling more centred, calm, confident and connected, with a new sense of purpose -one of our key objectives for people to fulfil their potential. The feedback we have collected, along with hard data, encourages us that our programmes have not only been sustained but have been beneficial to those who attend. To maintain and build on this success, a training and recruitment programme has been formalised and become an ongoing event in our monthly calendar. This will ensure achievement of charity aims going forwards and our high level of safeguarding and expertise of service delivery for each individual attendee. We have undergirded these things by further strengthening the governance and financial leadership of the charity, with the addition of an internal volunteer professional auditor for the finance team, three additional Trustees carrying new areas of strength, along with a new Advisory Board. Along with this organisational overview, the most moving part of our achievements is always the individual stories and community feedback after our events. There were some very touching stories of individual lives impacted by the delivery of the services. Particularly of note has been the early intervention when individuals have been in crisis. This has enabled sign posting to the relevant services at a critical time. We are in a mental health epidemic at a time when NHS and public resources are stretched. And we are pleased to report that in our small way we have been able to make a difference to those who come to our events and to the communities in which we sit.
