**during the year**|In fulfilling the Purpose the Church will engage in a range of activities
either on its own or with others that will vary from time to time with
activities being initiated, expanded, or closed, as appropriate The
activities may include but are not restricted to:
- Regular public worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching and teaching;
- Baptism, as defined in the Baptist Union’s Declaration of Principle;
- The Communion of the Lord’s Supper which shall normally be observed
at least once a month;
- Evangelism and mission, locally, regionally, nationally and
internationally;
- The teaching, encouragement, welcome and inclusion of young people;
- Nurture and growth of Christian disciples;
- Education and training for Christian and community service;
- Giving and encouraging pastoral care;
- Supporting and encouraging charitable social action in the United
Kingdom and abroad;
- Encouraging relationships with and supporting Baptists and other
Christians.|

||Achievements and performance
During 2022 our community fridge and café continued to grow
supporting the community by giving away on average 300kg of food to
60 – 80 house holds a week. This has been a huge support to the
community and the need for food has been growing as there are so
many struggling in our community.
During the winter we opened a warm space at the community fridge so
that members of the public who were struggling to heat their homes
could come and have a warm place to relax, play games, build
community and access the fridge. This was well received by the
community and well attended.
Through our café, fridge and church activities we are supporting on
average 400 families a week.
We have received 2 grants that will enable us to build our community
garden and the local church of England have offered us a plot of land for
the garden to be located. They have also agreed to give us an office
space in their building. This is a really exciting development that we
hope will be achieved in 2023.|
