**Objects:** The advancement of education and, in particular, the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development in Teesdale and surrounding locality.

**Activities:** For persons not in full time employment, over 18 years old. To promote the values of lifelong learning. Form interest groups covering a wide range of topics and activities. Learning is for its own sake, with enjoyment being the prime motive, not qualifications or awards. It is a mutual aid organisation.
