ANNUAL REPORT OF THE KENT SRI LANKAN BUDDHIST CULTURAL CENTRE

The Kent Sri Lankan Buddhist Cultural Centre register as a charity, on the 19th January 2018.
We have been conducting our usual Zoom Dhamma discussions regularly on every Tuesday
and Thursday, with the Buddhist Venerable and other local Buddhist practitioners. We have had
participants joining from Sri Lanka regularly on Thursdays.
Conlinually the charity and the members have been looking for a permanent pla to carry out
our tasks but without any success due to financial Constraints.
We have written to the local council to help us find a suitable place to continue our religious as
well as cultural activities. However we have had no positwe response to our several requests
which is understandable.
Since register the charity, memberfs had looking for a permanent place to continue organise
religious program and cultural activty. KSLBCC has wrote to the local council to help us find the
suitable building or land. Sopa no positive reply.
Therefore for the time being the KSLBCC committee has decided not to collect any donations
and any monthly contributions unlil we find a permanent place to carry oul our charity work.
