Section D Achievements and performance

NOSF is continuing to develop, working with various
partners, thePeoples Forest Project
, joining the heart
of Nottingham to Sherwood Forest.
NOSF has delivered the Castle Oaks project in the
City, funder by the Nottingham Castle Trust to gift an
oak tree to each of the 80 primary and special
schools in the city.
NOSF continues to work with other groups and
individuals to highlight the importance of our City
Open Space Network. We play an active role on the
NCC Open & Green Space Champions Group, Local
Access Forum, Green Partnership, Green Hustle, and
with Natural England and Nottinghamshire Wildlife
Trust.
NOSF is also strongly engaged with the Midlands
Parks Forum and with theNational Federation of
Parks and Green Spaces
which continues national
work on behalf of Friends Groups.
NOSF has made a number of submissions on planning
applications afecting open and green spaces and has
contributed to relevant Supplementary Planning
Documents. We have also participated in Broadmarsh
Green Heart stakeholder group discussions.
NOSF holds regular open Forum meetings,
strengthening connections between professional and
volunteer “greeners”. We continue support for
individual Friends Groups and other open and green
space stakeholders.
NOSF are supporting the work ofWild.NG
NOSF continues to contribute to the developing Local
Nature RecoveryStrategy.

As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
