Section C Objectives and activities
Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
The relief of those in need of assistance by reason of youth, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
Circumstance due to the pandemic have curtailed our activities through the 2020-21 Period. Going forward we are actively supporting Tushinde Children’s Trust and we would identify and support similar organisations that meet the purposes of our Charity. As an example, not only are we financially supporting the latest Tushinde project, we are looking to assist with their assessment data processing through our network of volunteers regarding the health outcomes from the day care projects. The organisations we choose will have a successful track record in their chosen field with appropriate governance processes and evaluation of the impact of the interventions in relation to individuals' health and well-being, organisation's sustainability and communities' involvement and activity. They will be reviewed and vetted to provide assurance to the Trustees that they are run in a fit and proper manner. Our preference is that they are already a registered charity, however should they not be we will be following the hard and fast rules of due diligence, thorough risk assessments and a formal agreements. We confirm that the Charity Trustees have had regard to the guidance on public benefit.

Section D Achievements and performance
Our work during the 2020-21 COVID pandemic centred on supporting Summary of the main people in need rather than fund raising. The opportunity to knit baby achievements of the charity blankets connected people who were otherwise isolated. These blankets during the year provided much needed comfort for local babies who has little else. We also supported the making of Fi tea towels as tokens of our thanks to those who has knitted these gifts of love. The shift to supporting UK need during COVID has enabled us to continue to deliver support in line with our charity constitution.
