## **- 4. Chairmans report:**

First I want to thank you all for your support and hard work this year. It has been a rather challenging year but we have managed to survive so far and hopefully, after our discussions with Nikki we will be able to continue running our sessions at Burcott for the foreseeable future.

Julie and Judith have been brilliant as our hardworking instructors. they've run fun, constructive and remedial lessons for our riders. We have had three more riders start and they certainly seemed to be enoying themselves.

We ran our stall at Mendip Farmers Point to Point again. The weather was glorious and we nearly sold out of race cards. We also had a stand at the Bath and West Show with Quarter Pint Ponies and Somerset Levels Driving Group. The aim was to promote our profile and we also managed to raise some funds. At the begining of September we held a successful tack stall as World Horse Welfare in Somerton selling donated tack and clothing. Hard work but again trying to raise funds and our profile. We have been asked if we would like a table at Wells Cathedral in January. Somerset Levels will join us running the stand.

Three of our volunteers attended a First Aid course and are now part of our First Aid team.

As you can see there have been changes at Burcott. Judith and I spoke to Nikki about the changes. Most of our queries have been answered and we feel happier about the situation now. Nikki assured us that they like us being at Burcott.

Thank you all again for all your hard work. We wouldn't be able to keep going without you.
