guSdance on public benefiL including the RuidarKe'Publit Benefft= Runnin8 a C￿rIty IPB21'. The thurch is open to aryone who
wlshes to attend.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
2025 is anOt￿r year that we ¢an knk backon and pTri5e the Lord foi ￿￿fr5lon and faithfvjlness. We a￿ still waiting on the
Lord for his guidance On a way fr&rward forthe church and. whilst waibn& we ￿ntInue to mEetand OFerate as part of His 8lobal
chur¢h. The church does rnt have a mIn￿er. and WÈ have been b￿SSed and encouraged fy a number of speakers. frorn wf(hin
our own fellowship and from further aT￿ld. We ha¥e a num￿1 of regukr speaker5 who commr( to *ading our Sunday morning
services once a month and another leads us one ￿nt￿Yevery other r￿)nth.

Ruth and Danlel.The group regularfy attractsevdhttoten people and. with the¥idof Stu￿ material, hasgiven usthe opportunty
to look at God's word in a MO￿ indepth and structured manner.
Every two weeks the Esther Group meets for fellowship and prayer on a Wedre5day mornir$8. Durln8 the year they have had a
variety of guest speakers. One spoke of thew?rk of the Dignity F￿edoM network and another 5pokeabout the lrfe and influen
of Wlll*m Wilberforce who was so much rn0￿ than instrumertsl ITr the abolition of the skve trade.
The Encounter Group has rnet normaify on the ft*urth Wednesday of the rnonth throughout the year. Thls group is o￿n to the
wkler Christian Cofflmunrty in Newport. rt is a time to Wdit on the Lord and re(eNe from Him. The meetin85 no¥rnally attract
aroundtsventy Feople.
During 2024, and with thÈ inthal support ty way of a 8ranL from the Shropshlre Community Fwndètion, the Tuesday Warm
Drop In started. The Drop In has contlnued to operate on Tuesday rnornl￿ during 2025. It Fwdes a place where Feople can
meet, chat and ptsygames in a VRM and wekom1￿ environrnenL
The church suptK•nS Newport Sin8lng Together, a choirfor peop￿ wsth dementia and their tarers. In addrtion to the church, a
numberol local organlsation$ have generousty fvnded the Clk)ir. The Is Imwrtant as it provides comfort and stlmulatbn
to rts members who are both dernentki sufferers and their corer

Fwdbank and through the year donatkjns of fctyjd recehed from oUrfelhJwshipa￿ rewlarly passed on to the Foodban

We anticipate that our N)rrnal aCtfv￿ will contiNe In 2026, although we ha¥e r￿? pkns for any additional xtlvlUes. We have
been wthout a minlster sin¢eJanuary 2022. Our current Jevel of offeriy are such that we cannot afford to empby a mifii5ter.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
As a church. we a￿ entirety depEndent on the Lords kndingand the res￿rCeS He provide
We started the year totsl cash reseNes in the bank of E31,146. During the year income received was £22.529 and our
expendittl￿ totalled £28.596. We spent £6.067 more than we r￿￿ed. We eKountered a number of 518nificart one off wsts
to maintsin bulldin8. This has left us with cash reserves of £25.079 att￿ year end. which indudes £310 of restricted fund$.
Restricted funds a￿ those an*)unts receNed which are ear-marked for$kwffic PUT￿￿SeS. Durlngthe year we re￿Ned £2,728 of
restricteé funds and spent £2￿24 of those fvnds. Th￿ left us wrth a baièno of £310.
It h45 been necessary to carry out a Trumker of major building malntenarKt proieLts this year. In order to keep our building In a
good stste of repair. The expenditu￿ Wa5 P￿nned and an￿Unted to a totsl cos¢ whKh was rnet frorn ourcash reseNes, of just
over £13.OCKI. More detsll is 8Nen in rK*te 5 to these accounts.
c￿11, even with the one off expenditure. our finartss remain on an even keel and rf the current ￿e1$ of income and
expenditure continue. we should be able to operate as we are Ind@finrte￿. However. whi15t we are co¥ering costs. we are not
PTovidlng reserves that would enable us to recruit a minister.

ReseNes are r*eded to bridge the gap between the speThdi￿ and re￿wIng of 1￿me and to awer unpLinned emergency
eXpend￿re.
The Trustees feel t￿t it j5 prudent for the Church to alm to maintsin a level ol cash reserye5 equivalent to the cost of running
the church for a perlod of six month% plus a contin8enryfvnd of f I0,C￿0 for one off expen*5. We know that duri08 2026, we
are going to have to have addthonal trMJ¥ldin8 maintenance costs. The wnnin8 Costs of the church for six rnonths will be in the
region of £8,5(￿. Reserves atthE year-end amounted to £25.079.

Our weekly offeriw would need to rise by £850 per week each and every week.
