carried out using social med6a platfornis. such as You Tube. and rneÈtlr*s condueted vii Zoom. Wo returned to faté to facg
meetings on S Septernber 2021.
In shaping our objectwes for the period and P￿nn1￿ our acbvibes. the trustees have considered the Charlty Commisslon's

16 January. and after a short period off to relax and reAect. he will take up a T￿W posith)n as minister of another church In the
Heart of England Baptist A550cvatÉon's a￿8.
In the short terrn. our9Jnday semces are telng fed by a varietyof guest preacher& We are veryRrateful to them forsupporting
us In this way.The Churth Is prayèrfvlty exploring the Fellowship's future.. we wait on the Lord.

The wlll Con￿nUe to impact ad¥elSe￿ the Churth's finances into 2022 wlth the bss of rentsl i￿ome. Trustee5 have
monltoredthe levelsof cash reserves, and It beCam@appa￿￿tdUrirrftheYearthatthe bssof Incomewould make itvery dtFPi¢ult
to continue to pay a fvll time minister. Whibt forecasts and were ￿Ing di5CU5sed. and the Lord's will was being sought,

Reserves are needed to bridge the gap between ￿ spending and re￿Ning of Incoff* and to cover Unp1anr￿d ernergenry
expenditure.
The church had buitt up re5eryes to enab￿ ￿10 fvndthe cost of a fullifirne mlntsterfora numberof yearswrththe ald of a Home
Mwsion grant. Over ihe last four years. those Te5ewves have been er(Mled, tecause they were needed to plug the gap between
our income and expendtture. The main causes oFthi5 were a fall ingmrvadue to a redL￿t￿)n in the slze of ourcongregats'on over
that Feriod and latterlythe Iw of rentsl irKon*.
The Trustees feel that it is prudent for the Church to aim to maiiiiain a thl of cash reserves equivalent to the cost of runnlng
the church for a period of six nKJnths. GNen our newtircum5tsrw. with ￿ minister to pay. the running costs of the church for
six months will ￿ in the region of £7.S(Kl. Reserves at the yearend amounted to E22,410. however, there will be a final salary
paymerbt to our minister iThJanuary 2022 and we wlll have to paythe pensbn fund defKitof £7,7CiI.

adopted at a Church membe￿ meeting held on 30 October 2017. wK)r to it bein8 subrnitted to the Charities Comm￿s￿)n for
Ewland & Wales as part of the registrdtion Pr￿sS. The d￿￿￿nt is based on the Model constitution prodU￿d by the Baptlst
Union Corporation Limited in consultation with the Charity Commission lor Er)8land & Wales.
