,'Il 11 OTTERY ALL AMI Our Chosen ladies group has been going well this year, meeting every Tuesday afternoon for about an hour, we do a variety of things at the groupy from ¢raft, flower arranging to praying for one an- other. We recently reviewed the year and all agreed we were happy with how the group has been going. These are some of the things we have done this year: Enjoyed an evening together doing ceramic painting. Putting on a monthly community lunch, Enjoyed a day doing crafts, organised a pudding night, organised fundraising events for the home- less fund, raised enough money to fund a Christmas buffet for the community. We also wrote a psalm together and made a banner (it's almost finished!) We all agreed that the group offered love and support. all of us said we just enjoy being together. We thank God for the opportunity we have to meet on a regular basis to chat pray and worship together. Friendship is truly a glft from God. Photo shows ladies out doing ceramic painting.

Men nited: I., .01111 o••• 9000•0•• At the beginning of 2024 we started a new mens group at Hope House called 'Men United,. We meet twice a month, once a month on the second Wednesday evening to encourage one anothers faith and once a month on the fourth Saturday to share in a social event together. We have had opportunity to share together from the bible, do a wide variety of activities together and get to know one another more. The photo shows our mens group on a 10 pin bowling social evening.

Paul Loh visit: In June we once again had a visit from Paul Loh from Singapore. Paul has been visiting us for a number of years, sharing with us and encouraging us. Paul shared with local Church leaders as well as sharing thoughts on the book of Romans which we were shar- ing on at the time. In the photo Paul shared at our Men United breakfast. Also Jan who cooked us all an excellent full English breakfast.

Reaplay music workshops launched in August to draw people together through music and build their confidence through music and social connection. The 10 workshops were led by Dave Beck and well attended. At the end of the sessions a concert was put on at the end of November to a packed Hope House. The Reaplay group also played a couple of Christmas songs at the Carols by Candlelight concert. The workshops were free due to generous funding from The Bishop of Lincolns Social Justice Fund. Sunday morning children's and youth meetings which have been running for around 30 year$, conlin- ued in 2024 with games, stories, crafts and activities. Each Sunday we provided things to do on small tables at the back in the all ag8's part of the service with a sketch after the worship time aimed at the ' children, but enjoyed by adults as well. We had started the sketches during the online services during the pandemic to illustrate bible passages, so we decided to continue.11 gives the adults a flavour of what the children were learning about each week. In 2025, we are looking to r8vamp the group to make it more accessible for families where parents would like their children to come alongg but might not want to come along themselves.

Homeless wor Hope House provides supported living accommodation for men who are homeless. At tho start of 2024 we had 2 houses but the lease on one house cam8 up for renewal and for a variety of reasons we decided to not extend it and we handed it back to the owner in Jun8. We worked to increase our capacity at the other house from 4 to 5 beds and were helped in this work through generous donations from Mablethorpe Town Council, The Rotary Club of Alford & Mablethorpe, The Ground Level Network of Churches and other individual donors. The end result was an overall reduction from 7 to 5 beds. During the year we provided accommodation for 13 men, of which 11 moved on. 5 wer8 found suit- able long term housing* 2 moved back to be with family and 3 were evicted for breach of rules. We held a Homeless information day in August which was well supported and we received over £1000 in donations from the event plus further support afterwards.
