The relief of mental arKI emotional distress of thildren and young people resident in Suffolk, and
their frdmilies, in parttcular by the provision of counselling and supporL
This year our work has conlinued to grow numerically. We are seeing more dients and holding
more counselling sessions. This includes our Walk and Talk. Face to Face and online servI￿s. The
most significant development of the last year has been the development of a serwce for 8-11 year
olds. We had been asked several times if we could offer help for this age group as there is so little
help for them. All our ¢ounsellors trained to work wtth younger children and at Ihe beginning of 2023
we opened a fa￿ to face service for this age group.
l our counsellors continue to train through continuing professional development courses.
We continue to host fundraising events and to engage with networking events across the
community.
In planning our activities for the year we kept in mind the Charity Commission's guidan￿ on public
benefit at our trustee meetings.
