FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 31 MARCH 2025
The trustees present their report along with the financial statements of the charity for the period l April 2024
to 31 March 2025. The financial statements have been prepared in accord3rn￿ with the 3ccountin8 policies set
out on pages 4 to 12 and comply with the Charity's Constitution and applicable law.
StNclure. Govemance and Mafta8ement
The Church registered a5 a Charitèble Incorporated Organisation on 2 January 2018 and its objects are to
promote the Christian faith. For the furtherance of this aim regular activities are carrled out and invitations
given out lo the public.
Appointment of the trustee5 is govemed by the Coft%titution of the Charity. The current board of trustees
constitutes four meFnbers. Details of the tru5tee5 who have served during the period are given on page l. The
Church's Pastor is ex officio the chair of trustee5. 14È is also responsible for the d3y-tO-day operaiion of the
charity and manages the staff of the charity on behalf of the board. Finance is raised from the congreBation's
contributions and Gift Aid.
The board of trustee5 15 authorised to appoint new trustees to fill vacancies through resignation or death of an
existing trustee until the following Congregation AGM. whereupon congregational member5 will be invited to
confirm the new trustee by vote. Other than the Church's Pastor. trustee5 are appointèd to two-year terms,
nd may serve for a maximurn of six consecutive year5. The trustees retain the collective responsibility for
major financial decisions and invèstments and board rneeting5 are held monthly.
Objectlves and Artivities
The trustee5 have considered the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit and. in particular. the
specif1c guidance on charities for the advancement of reli8ion. As a result of our faith, we willingly and
consistently reach out to welcome wsitors to our chuTth. We enable ordinary people to live Out their faith as
part of our fèllowship through worship and PT3yer. learning about the Gospel and developing their knowledge
and trust in Jesus and the challen6e to live ftsr God and be obedient to His wll for their lives.
As a Chrigtian org3nisation. our airn 1£ to promote the Gospel of Jesu5 Christ firstly in our local community and
the surrounding area5, by church plantitl8 and supporting missionary work. We aim to make a p051tive
contribution in our local community by invitingthe general public to concert scenes. drama PToduttions, church
services, prayer for the sick and youth/children's work.
All these activitie5 3re in conjUn￿10Th with OUT regular chuTch services. All organised aclivitie5 and event5 are of
a non-profit basi5 and are funded by the Church through offerings and donations_ Concerts and drama
produttlons are free of charge anij are paid for by the con8regaiion's contribution5.
Regular church services are held at Potters House Church, 36 Paddo¢k5treet, Norwich. NR24TWon Wednesday
nights and Sunday morning5 and evenings.
Sunday school classes are held on Sunday mornings. and Children's Church services on Sunday evenings aim to
reach out to local families. catering for agÈs 4-12. We have a nursery 3vailable from birth to 3 which enables
parents to take part in every service knowing thèt their small children are well cared for. A number of young
adult5 and teenagers wlthin the congregation have active roles in all Ihese ministries. D8S check5 have been
carried out on those WQTking with children, and we m3int3in a safeguarding policy.

The church operates a free weekly stay and play called "Pots Tots~ for parents and their pre-sch￿1 Children.
We held over 30 Sessions during the financial year. with growing attendance from the local community.
The Church actively Seeks to support marriage5 and has invested in both literature and financesto this purpose,
as well as through OT83nising 3-day marriage seminars. These have been very popular and ale well attended.
Achievements and Performance
In April we hosted the annual UK Potter's House Children's Workers conferen￿ which focuse5 Ofl training and
developin8 the ministry of the volunteers who work with children 3nd young people in 5und3y
School/Children's Church/Youth work. A5 well as attendees from the UK fellowship, we have had attendees
from overse3s churches. This conference is free of charge and is paid for from rnembers. contributions, who
also make their homes available for accommodation.
We currently have 'dau8hte¥' churches in Belfast. BLtry St Edmunds. Doncaster. Erdington. Glas8ow, Ipswich.
Leice5tef. Middlesbrough, Newcastle and Portsmouth. The pastoral couples in these churches were trained
within our church. In October our daughter churche5 in Doncaster and Walsall planted their fir5l churches into
Mansfield and Stafford. We now have 'gr3nddaughter' churche5 in CarlislÈ, Dudley. Mansfield, Petefborough,
Rugby. Stafford, Walsall, Worcester and West Bromwith. These churches are supported financially and
spiritually by the Norwich congregation_ Throughout the year we have sent 10 teams of workers to pioneer
churches to support their outreach even
Our Daughter and Granddaughter churches are invited each Julyto attend an annual Har￿terS Homecoming.
This year's HaTve5ter5 Homecoming had record attendance of 426 people from across our churches. Duririg the
Harvesters Homecoming we raised a restricted fund to send some of our pioneer pastors on a preachin8
rnission to Nigeria.
Throughout this financial year we have Continued to stspport the Seville, Spain church. This work has continued
to grow with 3 congregation firmly established. Over the year we fundeo flve revlval seTles with dlfferent
visiting preacher5, thi5 wa5 paid forfrom a restricted fund donated to in Harvesters Homecoming 2023.
In October it was announced that Danny and Hannah Crisp. previtsusly pastoring the Newcastle church. were
to launch a Mew missionary church in Vietnam. During November and December, we funded various pastoral
couples relocats.ons to release the Crisps for the mission-fiÈld. The Crisps have spent 4 months on-staff in
Norwich preparing for Vietnam.
Jring the yearwe fvlly repaid the mortgage balance on our 5teven50n Road investment property.
Plans for 2025126
In April 2025 we anticipate the Crisps mowngto Vietnam. A new overseas church to support will be a 5ignific3nt
additional financial expenditure for the Charity. Additionally. after 5 years at Paddock St￿et, we have a
significant scheduled rent increase. Thereftsre. the Trustees will monitor expenses over the coming year.
With the Steven50n Road property now unincumbered. the Tru5tee5 will review their plans for the investment
property. The trustees will continue to invest lunds in planting churches and regular revivals and outreaches.
Plans for 2025126 include further expre55ion in both national and world evangelism. We envision continuingto
participate in church planting locally, ¥e8ionally and internationally including continued missionary support in
line with our objectives.

Financial Review
The Trustees considef that the stability ol the church and the finances ￿e1Ved have been satisfartory. The
Church continues to benefit from the generosity and support ol ils congregation through their 8ivin8. The
Trustees are happy with the level of income and the commitment of its congregation through their re8ular
donations. which 15 boosted by the Gift Aid scheme.
We achieved an in-year surplu5 and sawngs continue to grow and have continued to maintain strong cash
holding5.
During the year we have made overpayments on the Stevenson Aoad mortgage. and thi5 property is now
unintuMbe￿d and debt-free.
During the Fln3ncial Year Steven50ll Road conEinued to be leased to a heath care bu51ne55. paying a monthly
rent. During the Financial Year the tenant entered rent arrears, the tenant has been evicted after the
Financial Year ended and has entered Voluntary Liqui(Sotion. In these the ￿arItY ha5 written down the credit
balance accrued as a bad debt. reflected ID the Financial Statements below_ However, we have advised the
Sl8nificant knquidator and have been added to the list of unsecured creditors.
Investment Powe
The charitrfs constitution authorises the trustees to rnake and hold investments using general funds of the
charity. Presently. the charity owns an investment property- 116 s￿ven50n Road. Norwich.
ReseNes Pollcy
The charity'5 policy is to maintain sufficient unre5trirted funds to cover the nexr month's fixed expenditure.
Reserve5 are maintained in 3 separ3te bank account to operating accounts. Thi5 requirement has been met
throughout this financial year.
