New trustees are appoinled by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the
Irus¢ees. In selecting individuals for appointment as trustee& the trustees MU￿ have
regard to the skill& knowledge and experience needed for the effective admini￿ra110n of
Ihis organisation.
The board of trustees oversee the running of ihe charity on a day-to4lay basis as per its
constiiution document adopted I W December 2017.

The irusiees have a duly to identify and review the risks to which ihe charity is exposed
and io ensure appropriate controls are in place lo provide ￿8$Onable assurance against
those risks.

The objectives of the charity as set out in its governing document are as follows:
a) To advance ihe religion of Islam, by rneans of. bul not exclusively, promoting the
achings and ienets of Islam, provision of fa¢ilities for worship and provision of
facilities for Islamic Education, in accordance with the teachings of the Qur'aan
and the teachings of Prophet Muharnmad (PBUH) and the Sahabah-E-Keraam
(R.A.A) according to the Interp￿￿tIon and accepted view of the Ahle Sunnah
Wal Jamaa-Ah and as expounded by the Salafus Saaliheen (Pious Pred￿c5s0r$)
and in accordance lo the d(Ktrine of Ash'ari-maturidi as defined in Clause 29 -
Interpretation. Including:
The declaration that- there is no deily worthy of Worship excepi Allah. and (hat•
Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) is the final rnessenger of Allah.
The acceptancc of the four ￿001S of thought bein8 Hanafee, ShaaPee, Hanbalee,
and Malikee.
The acceptance of the Sunnah of the four rightly guided Caliphs ofislam being
Abu-Bakr. 'Umar,'Uthman and 'Ali (may Allah be please with all of them).
All worship and religious educational matter& for the masjidlmadressa, musi
conforn) to the Islamic leaching and practices of the Deobandi school of thought.

education and any such activilies as ihe Trusiees may deiemiine from lime to

promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between dityerent rdcial and faith
groups in the United Kingdom, in ways thal reduces conflict and Creates trus¢
unity and peacc between them.
d) To relieve financial hardship, distress and suffttin8s amongst poor people,
victims of natural disBsters and other people in need. by means decided fit by the
Trustees from lime to time in the Uniled Kingdom and oiher deserving parts of
the world.
e) The provision or assistance in the provision of facilities in the inierests of social
welfare for recreation or other leisu￿ lime occupation of individuals who liave a
need of such facilities by reason of their youth. gender. age. infimity or
disability, financial hardship or social circumstances wilh (he object of improving

Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit.

We are pleased to report that throughout ihe year the charity mainiained Ihe running of
the facilities to achievc its objectives and the Trustees are satisfied with the overall
perforrnance of the charity.
The supplementary scl)ool has continued with evening and weekend provision. Thcre
remains a waiting lia 10 join the supplementary school.

The continuation of adult classes including practical and exercise focused for ladies were
further developed. These developed the self<onfidence and 50¢ial skills of participants
and contributed towards developin8 the community. The Ladies have a coffee morning as
well as educaiional classes to help with their well being as well as educational progress.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Income exceeded the operating expenditure during the period. Work on the ablution area
wus in progress during the year.
The charity aims to keep reserves to cover costs of activilies.
The cash reserves held ai 31. August 2024 werc £106,366. 1.hcse w¢r¢ 10 eover oiigoing
costs as well as lo save funds for ihe fulure ladies area project.

The charity is continuing to establish itself and shall continue to build on its Cu￿enl
activiiies and engagements with ihe local community.

SIBILITIES
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Report of the Trustees and the financial
statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting
Stsndards. In preparing financial stalemenls. the tntstees are required to:
select suitable a¢¢ouniing policies and then apply them consistently:
observe the methods and principles in the Chariiy SORP.
make judgements and esiimates that are reasonable and prudent"
prepare the financial ststements on the going concern basis unless it is
inappropriate io presume that the charity will continue in business.
The trustees are responsible for keeping woper acc(>unting records which disclose with
re&sonable accuracy ai any lime the financial positK)n ofthe ctwity and to enable ihem lo
ensure that the financial statements comply with applicable law and United Kingdom
Accounting Standards. The trU￿ceS are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of
the charity and hence for taking rca50nable SÈPS for the prevention and detection of fraud
and other irregularities.
