Par¥ 1 In recognising the importance of 'on the ground. expertise when working in this field, The Helen Bailey Trust continues to work in partnership with Seven Stories (The Nab'onal Cenlre for Children's Books) a registered charity whose mission is to collect, champion and ￿lebrate children's literature. The principles and primary objeclives of this ongoing and suc￿Ssful partnership are to deliver innovative leaming programmes that inspire and enable young people and their teachers in the North East of England to take diverse approaches to creative writing by sparking empathy with Ihe creative process, develop increased confiden￿, imaginab'on and stamina in creative writing and to enable them to begin to see themselves as writers.
