||||||Seven Stories.||
||||||The objectives and activities undertaken||
||||||during the autumn<br>and spring terms ofthe||
||||||2020/21 academic year were outlined<br>in the||
||||||Trustees<br>annual<br>report for that period,||
||||||however as the summer<br>term ofthat||
||||||programme<br>falls within the current<br>reporting||
||||||period we outline the activities undertaken|in|
||||||it below.||
||||||This term focused on the topic ofpoetry with||
||||||the pupils making<br>their own 'pop-up'<br>poetry||
||||||notebooks (as inspired<br>by the British||
||||||Library's<br>programme<br>'Discovering<br>Children'|s|
||||||Books') which they filled with their own||
||||||poems and read aloud<br>in different voices,||
||||||tones, pace and pitch. They also used the||
||||||technique<br>ofpersonification<br>to write animal||
||||||poems which they engaged<br>with||
||||||enthusiastically.||
