Achievements and perfonnanee
Due to Covid, 2021 was a mixed year for social and building activities. Friends sought to maintain
the essential fabric of the building while laying the ground for futur¢ funding and work to maintain
and improve the building and its amenities.
Continuing connections between the community and the Barn ch￿￿h were fostered by regular
contributions to the parish magazine. The Bam Church Facebook page w&s updated and an
Instagram account established.
Two successful Community events were run. The need for a sense of community was again well
demonstraled during 2021. when social contact remained more than usually important. The Autumn
event was widely welcomed as a first chance for many in the community to meet in person after
Covid-related social isolation.

Deficit. The year ended with a currenl account deficit of £838. This unusual deficit was due lo our

pernianent water connection.
However, £7022 (including £IOOO restricted funds) w&8 carried forward to 2022.
Further financial details
Wc do not make grants. Our funds come from doDatioLs, including donatiODS &ssociated with
events, and from l(Kal grani-makin8 or8anisations who support our objectives. During the year we
received a grant of £IO(M) towards roof work from the Albury TnLs¢ and Albury Parish Council
