The NSWNff ig actively preparing detailed applications for early submission to ere¢t a statue
in Central London to commemorate thc outstanding bravery and loyalty of Sikh soldict5 i
both World Wars. Negoiiations to date have engaged with a wide rdnge of senior w)lili¢ians
who hav¢ declared themselves as very supportive of this ¢xemplary proW.
Detailed negotiations have taken place to secure the prefetyed I￿tion in a prominent and
most suitable sit¢ on th¢ great c¢r¢monial route. where indeed Sikhs marched in 1919 to play
their part in celebrating the end of hostilities. A very beauti￿1 etching of ihe monument in its
proposed 5¢ttin8 has been prepared and is being constdered by planoers and will then go
forward to ¢ommitted suprK)rte

Income
All income is included in the statement of FinanciaI Aetivitics when entitlement has
passed to the chartty. it is pri)babl¢ that the economic benefits associated with the
