Spiritato provides professional performances, residencies, workshops, conferences and other events to promote early music and educate the public, with a particular focus on neglected repertoire which is rarely performed. Our work includes research into neglected repertoire, including giving modern premieres of works which have remained unperformed for centuries. We present music of the early 17th century to early 19th century on historically appropriate instruments, deliver education work and family concerts in schools and the community and publish recordings and editions of rarely performed repertoire.

Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

During the year Spiritato! Performed in the York Early Music Festival in a video recorded concert as well as collaborate with visual artists in the Brighton Early music Festival.

The group has taken a keen interest on the Duben manuscript collection and has been successful in fundraising from several foundations to record a selection of pieces. A promotional video was filmed in March to create momentum.

In addition, the group is planning to join forces with the Marian Consort to embark on an Inspiring Bach project exploring music by JC Bach, JS Bach, Pachelbel, and Knüpfer.

Covid-19 has had an impact on our ability to generate income from concerts this year and the outlook on live performances remains uncertain.
