MANAGEMENT OF THE CHARITY The Glory of Christ Church is managed by the followtng tard of trustees: Toni Nitu, Nelly Beolongo and Rev. Jacques LunY)na-Nzau. To better manage the Glory ofchrist Church. we have a variety on meeting throhOUt the year. taking pla beeen the members of the Exiard of trustees, the whole congregation meetings and the assembly of the church meeting. Due to the challenging Corona virus restn'ctions. the above meetings were mostly taking place online and physically where the law pemiitted. Our board of trUStS coordinates activities within our church to ensure the harmony between our members and the pursuit of our missions as well as our aims and objectives. C. INCOME Our income was mainly generated from members contributions in terms of offerings, tithes and donations. The total annual income for the yearfrom the period 0110612020 to 3110512021 was £6,200. Whereas the totsl expenditure was £6,100. D. OWECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES The object of the Glory of Christ Church are= To advance the Christian faith in accordan wth the ststement of Beliefs in such ways and in such parts of the UK or the world as Trustees from time lo time may think fit, - To rdieve sicthess and financial hardship and to promole and preserve good health by the prowsion of counselling and
support in such parts of the UK or the world as the Trustee5 from time to lin may think it, and to advan education in such ways and in such parts of the UK or the world as the Trustees from tirrE to time may think fit., to promote any charitable purposes in the UK and worldwide in accordance wth the charity law of England and Wales. E. ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN As our main focus is to advan the Christian failh, we organised preaching, seminar Conferen8, Bible sharing teaching for the benefit of our ff£rl)ers. We encouraged our rrenl)ers to meditating the word of God and to live a devob'onal life of prayers. We visited tTembers of our congregation and to share our Christion values Ihrough Bible studies and Bible sharing. We organised Christian fellowship rreals thatemphased community, goodwill, and the sharing offood and fellowship amng our EMberS in our congregation. These agape meals aim were to strength the bonds, to foster hamiony and express the koinonia which is the community sharing and fellowship betsveen our members within our Christian family. We organised some clothes donations (It weans we called our members to bring in their unused clothes to donate to our wembers who there in need. Mainly Asylum Seekers who neY arrived in the UK wth no enough to live on, dothes to warm themselves up. This is the best way to share our Christian love bwth them We organised some Shopping help days which consisted of giving a lift and helping our rnembers who were struggling to go shopping due to the lack of transport. So, as a Cornmunity church, we worked yth our members who had cars to help those who needed some support in shopping. F. ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE The period of the year from 2020 to 2021 v5 the most difficult one for the Glory for Christ Church due to coronavirus lockdowns across the UK. Most of our meetings were takiro place online. As most of our trEmbers are from the nigrant communities from Africa and mstly not used wth the use of technology, il was difficult to adapt to the online faalities. 8ut thankfully. our team of volunteers was able to help them adapt to accordingly. We also were able to have our indoor activikn'es while iemaining compliant to the Coronavirus guidelines as announced by the governmenL We worked very hard in as51Sting our members, especially eldedy and those who do not have car facilitses wth shopping.
We helped with food parcels Ythich VRS mainly coming from our members with the ability to help the n*dy from our community. We organised some Christian fn'erKlly meals to strengthen our spiritual bond within our congregation during the time where there were no Coronamrus restricb'ons. We organised a lot of online prayer activib'es in support of= NHS staff, our members, and members of the public during Coronavinjs pandemictitrEs. G.
