Para 1.20 | The group meets weekly for a social pub lunch. We try to meet as many weeks of the year as possible. The group is for those people (mostly 85+) who struggle to get out of the house. Two weekly exercise groups help older people maintain mobility, increase their social connections and decrease their risk of falls. Older people are introduced to other social groups in the area. Assistance is provided with completing Blue Badge applications. A Christmas meal brings all the groups together to exchange information and to increase peer support and friendships. |
