theatre trips and a Sunday lunch once a
month.

Para 1.20 From November 2023 the group met
regularly every week for 3 lunches with up
to 12 attending each lunch. A short break
in March and April to restructure with
smaller groups due to the increasing frailty
of the people attending.
New weekend theatre trips and Sunday
lunches at a local hotel were introduced to
help alleviate loneliness over the weekend.
The exercise group has grown in popularity
and is helping to maintain the mobility of
the attendees and keeping them fit and
active so they can take part in activities in
the community. So, the charity funds 2
exercise groups now.
New people have joined the group and new
friendships and connections are being
maintained outside of the group activities.
Lions Message in a Bottle have been
distributed widely in the local community.
