During this period the main activity has been
focussed on fundraising for the renovation of
the Northmoor play park Following an
inspection the previous year the majority of
the equipment was deemed unsafe. This is
in line with the purpose of the charity noted
in point 4 above,
The Iruslees have had regard to the Charity
Commission's guidance on public benefit. As
the majority of Northmoor Play Park had
been deemed unsafe the priority focus for
the year was lo make the current playpark
safe and fundraise lo enable works lo begin
to replace and renovate the playp8rk. The

questionnaire to the parish lo understand the
desired equipment and obtained three
quotes
from
playpark providers

understand the what funds were required
The mid-priced quote was chose which
offered the best value for benefit lo the
public in terms of quality, required variety of
equipment and longevity...

play park works to successfully begin in
January 2025.

The cash funds increased to £35.297 froTn
£17,666 last year. Unrestricted funds were
£10,875
with £156 generated from
fundraising and £156 In interest received.
Restricted funds (for the playpark works)
were £24.422. Being £22,774 in voluntary
contributions, the largest a National Lottery
granl of £18,714, with total fundraising
receipts of £5,215 and interest received of
£379.
The payments during the year were £4,700
related lo removing the unsafe playpark
equipment and preparing the area ready for
the new equipment and £6,349 to FCC
Communities Foundation lo unlock the
Landfill Communities Fund monies. which
once approved allowed works to install the
new equipment in January 2025, with the
major costs being incurred post year end.

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the
charity for the year ended 3110112025.

As the charity's Iruslees of the Company (who are also the directors of the
company for the purposes of company lawl, you are responsible for the
preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the
Companies Act 20061 the 2006 Act").
Having satisfied myself that the accounts of the Company are not required
to be audited for this year under Part 16 of the 2006 Act and are eligible for
independent examination, I report in respect of my examination of your
harily's accounts as carried out under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011
{ the 2011 Act"). In carrying out my examination, I have lollowea the
Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 14515)Ibl of the
2011 Act.
