How Cut Moose is Managed Cut Moose is an arts charity which develops projects in
response to community need and artistic practice of it’s
founders Helen Ainsworth and Irene Ros. We have a
fluid structure where both active members can suggest
and lead on projects with the support of other trustees.
We have no formal hierarchical structure.
Recruitment of Trustees Cut Moose are open to the recruitment of new trustees
and ask participants of their workshops to become
trustees whenever appropriate.
Objectives between We have successfully changed our address to Hilldrop
01/08/2021 - 31/07/2022 Community Centre- this embeds us in the community,
and we hope to be more involved in events that are
across the community.
Cut Moose planned to increase their activities in
Camden and Islington and reach more young people.
This was achieved.
Cut Moose planned to expand the film competition and
deliver workshops to young people. This was achieved.

Future Objectives Cut Moose plans to encourage young people to achieve
the Bronze Arts Award through their workshops.
Cut Moose plans to expand the film competition further
into regular weekly workshops. The film competition at
Camden New Town Community Festival went well and
including extensive contacts in the film industry and
local film directors to collaborate with moving forward.
We need to find substantial funding as we hope to run
the competition as an Arts Mark experience next year.
Cut Moose plan to work on their recruitment and grant
writing abilities to ensure more regular funding for
projects into the long term.
Our links with Beacon High were strong up until June
2022, however due to change of staffing and lack of
time or funding we have not been able to re-establish
any more than sporadic email contact.
Through the Jubilations project we have built up links
with other youth centres and now run regular events at
the Zone. These are connections we hope to build on in
the future – reaching our workshops wider into the
community.
We plan to expand our provision – on Tuesdays at the
Zone and Wednesdays at Hilldrop Community Centre.
For this we have no funding – it may prove
unsustainable.
We contributed to the 25 [th] anniversary celebrations at
TAP, however this was not an entirely positive
experience, but we hope lessons can be learnt and we
can build further on this valuable relationship.
Links to other professional theatre companies have
dwindled – despite multiple call outs to the new Gate
theatre and other theatres in the local area.
Consolidating links with the libraries.
Debts Cut Moose holds no debts or has any reserves over
£100.00. No funds are held as a custodian trustee. All
funds are and will be kept in the bank account.
Financial in-goings and out- Total ingoing = £8,801.36
