One identified secondary effect<br>includes improved access to opportunities<br>and a better future. A typical child in Koma<br>hills would walk up to 8 hours daily to<br>collect water. By helping more children to<br>receive education will also positively impact<br>the future economy and long-term<br>prospects of the region and wider Nigerian<br>economy.<br>This work also has a local impact through<br>its team members based in London.<br>Through social-media and fundraising<br>activities we have reached and inspired<br>many young people in the London area.<br>Awareness was raised of important world<br>issues such as the lack of clean water and<br>poverty. Our activities have also promoted<br>civic responsibility by providing young<br>people the opportunity to improve the<br>quality of people’s lives in underdeveloped<br>countries in a way they would not have<br>thought previously possible.|
