Our aim is to develop the needs of the community. SUPPOrted by the local
authority and partners. to create a stronger. independent community
where we live. To achieve this. we will build on community principles,
values and respect to strengthen community ownership and participation.
All proceeds raised will be channelled back into the events and
distributed to worthy local ouses.

The biggest single objedive is to raise money for local causes in the
community.

The Tata Steel Richard Burton 10K Tun raised over £22,000, after
expenses. that was donated to local causes such as Scouts. Girf Guides,
local sports teams. etc. as detailed in the section above.
The events help to build community spirit in the town.
The Christmas events raised money to bring the community together.
