Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
To promote and advance the legal, mental, physical and social welfare of Young People by the prevention and reduction of crime among the youth from age 10 to 25. By providing the 'Legal Awareness Programme' based on the General Principles of English Law, and focusing on criminal law and the Criminal Justice System.
In planning our activities for the year, we kept in mind the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit at our trustee meetings. The main activities are as follows: • the legal awareness programme; • the design of personal development plans; and • a programme of youth orientated events and activities. These activities could have benefited young people by developing their self-confidence, legal skills/ understanding, social skills, and life skills and provided opportunities for young people to become better citizens. We welcome all young people, aged between 10 and 25, regardless of personal background, Summary of the main faith, gender or personal circumstances. activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
