All trustees undertake regular personal railway safety courses in accordance with Wensleydale Railway policies. 

We liaise with local businesses, community forums, community first, The Co-op and we have strong working partnerships with the Wensleydale Railway. 

There is a risk assessment policy in place and the charity has third party liability insurance, asset insurance and subscribes to PPL/PRS and Motion picture licensing.  All relevant trustees and volunteers are DBS checked and we have a Health and Safety policy in place generally and specific to the railway.
