Our main activitie5 and who we try to benefit
are de5uibed in this Report. Like many small
village charities, the reporting period has been
dominated by the restrirtions imposed due to
Covid. Throughout the year our charitable
activities have focused on the preservation and
long-term use of the 8irstall Community Centre
and are undertaken to further our charitable
purposes forthe public benefit.

with Kirklees Metropolitan Council to retain the

charges from the Council together wtth available

after March 2020 during a period when fixed

our two employees

from Kirklee5 to help the local food share
programme. It was the only group that could.

In the reporting period the building has been
closed for a number of months and therefore
there has been no opportunities for volunteers
other than Trustees.
Trustees have worked extremely hard over the
time period to ensure that the building followed
all covid restrictions and guidelines to ensure
that when we could rtropen we did so safely.

There is a loss of income over expenditure, but
this is a reduced position from the previou5
year. The Trustee5 have compared the loss with
the previous year and agree that it is not a
material defKtt.
The Charity benefited from Govemment grants

closed.
As a new twst we are continually increasing our
portfolio of policies. The Policy on Reserve5 will
be produced in the coming year.
