The Tiptree Community Church is consItuted by a deed of trust dated 14th December 2017 which provides for new trustees to be appointed by the current trustees.

The objects of the charity are to advance the ChrisIan faith. The main area of the charity's operaIons is the county of Essex.

During the year under review this has been carried out by maintaining the congregaIon at Tiptree with it’s associated acIviIes on line and in person.

Financial PosiIon

The accounts on pages 3 and 4 set out the transacIons for the year. The trustees are saIsfied with the overall posiIon. The trustees are confident that the viability of the company is not in quesIon.

Reserves policy

The trustees have examined the charity’s requirements for reserves in the light of the main risks to the organisaIon and consider that the unrestricted funds held by the charity should be between 3 and 12 months expenditure.

Future plans

The trustees plan to review the acIviIes of the congregaIon in Tiptree in the coming year

Independent Examiner's report to the Trustees of Tiptree Community Church

I report on the accounts of the trust for the period ended 31st March, set out on pages 5 and 6.

RespecIve responsibiliIes of trustees and examiner

As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparaIon of the accounts; you consider that the audit requirement of secIon 43(2) of the chariIes Act 1993 (the Act) does not apply. It is my responsibility to state, on the basis of procedures specified in the General DirecIons given by the Charity Commissioners under secIon 43 (7) (b) of the Act, whether parIcular maQers have come to my aQenIon.

Basis of independent examiner's report

My examinaIon was carried out in accordance with the General DirecIons given by the Charity Commissioners. An examinaIon includes a review of the accounIng records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideraIon of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanaIons from you as trustees concerning any such maQers. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

Independent examiner's statement

In connecIon with my examinaIon, no maQer has come to my aQenIon:

to keep accounIng records in accordance with secIon 41 of the act; and
