CREATING AND MAINTAINING PARENT SUPPORT GROUPS AND FORUMS.B. PROMOTING ACTIVE INVOLVEMENT IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THROUGH VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES, INFORMATION, ADVICE, GUIDANCE AND THE SIGNPOSTING OF PROGRAMMES AND/OR ACTIVITIES THAT ARE BENEFICIAL TO THAT PARENT/CARERS WELL-BEING.C. **Activities:** Parents4Parents work towards the increased confidence and independence of families across Basildon by offering support, training and practical help. Reassuring families that difficulties in bringing up children are not unusual, and emphasising the positive aspects of family life. We develop supportive relationships with the parent through groups, training sessions and one to one meetings.
