St Albans Half Marathon provide a one
day, annual event on the second Sunday
of June. Entrants to the numerous races
help to fund the hosting of the event and
all profit is then donated to local
organisations and charities who help us
marshal the event. The races available
are:
St Albans Half Marathon
Walking Half Marathon
Wheelchair Half Marathon
5k
Fun Run
To increase our reach we also hold a
public vote to select a Main Benefiting
Charity. This years charity was Herts
Domestic Abuse Helpline . We offered 50
free running spaces to the charity which
they could use for fundraising. We also
promoted their work heavily in the build
up and on the day of the event.

to help lead how the charity is governed
as a whole.

from the help of volunteers on race day.
We have the help of hundreds of
volunteers each and every year who
help to make the St Albans Half
Marathon a success. The Trustees are
very grateful to those who give up their
time to help.

Albans Half Marathon.
This year Active Training World
organised the event for the charity. ATW
then made a donation to our charity.
This was the only way we saw it
possible for the event to continue to
