The ATOM Festval of Science & Technology runs an annual week-long
festval in March comprising a series of public talks, free public events
(interactve displays and demonstratons) for families, and school
actvites for students of all ages open to all local schools. The festval,
organised with local companies, academic organisatons and schools,
takes place in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

ANY DISTINCTION, IN THE PARISH OF ABINGDON AND SURROUNDING REGION (AREA OF BENEFIT), SUCH PROMOTION TO BE CARRIED OUT BY SUPPORTING LOCAL SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES IN THEIR PROVISION OF STEM SUBJECTS, ON A NON-REMUNERATIVE BASIS.

during the year
ATOM Festval in March 2024 atracted large numbers of the local and
natonwide community.
The events staged for children (4 -18 years of age) in partcular were very
well atended and encouraged children to explore science further.
Fame-Lab was implemented this year and was successful in that a larger
event will be enacted in 2025.
Talks in various subjects by prominent scientsts were exhilaratng and
again atracted high numbers of atendees.
