## Activities

**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY PROMOTING INTEREST IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHS (STEM) SUBJECTS, AMONGST CHILDREN OF ALL AGES AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC, WITHOUT ANY DISTINCTION, IN THE PARISH OF ABINGDON AND SURROUNDING REGION (AREA OF BENEFIT), SUCH PROMOTION TO BE CARRIED OUT BY SUPPORTING LOCAL SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES IN THEIR PROVISION OF STEM SUBJECTS, ON A NON-REMUNERATIVE BASIS.

**Activities:** The ATOM Festival of Science &amp; Technology runs an annual week-long festival in March comprising a series of public talks, free public events (interactive displays and demonstrations) for families, and school activities for students of all ages open to all local schools. The festival, organised with local companies, academic organisations and schools, takes place in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
