SUMMARY
Malawi Wildlife Trust was registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2018.
Its mission is to protect Malawi’s wildlife and safeguard its natural habitats, which will be achieved through two approaches;

Promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in Malawi.

Advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.
The opening bank balance on 1 April 2023 was £5691.08 and the closing balance on 31 March 2024 was £10,434.75. The difference is accounted for in monthly bank charges and interest as well as a £5000 donation in January 2024.
At the time of writing this report, the Trustees had made a decision on the use of these funds and will be reported in next year’s TAR.
