been able to support new groups and

These projects have focused on supporting
more women and girls to take part in sport

A partnership with Premiership Rugby has
also evolved, again through funding
support from Sport England which is seeing
the development of ‘Project Rugby’ at 13
clubs and foundations across England –
with the aim of supporting more women
and girls from diverse backgrounds to get
involved with Rugby Union.
The charity has also refreshed its strategy
and is in the process of finalising plans for
future growth.

funding during the 2024/2025 financial
period relating to the first payment of a
Sport England funded project. The charity
was awarded £359k from Sport England to
support the ‘Capacity, Resource and
Sustainability’ project which commenced
during the period and is to be delivered by
November 2027.
These are restricted funds specifically
required to deliver the objectives of the
programme.
The charity incurred £19.37k of expenditure
during the period, £18.5k of project delivery
costs and £0.870k linked to on-going
running costs of the charity (insurance,
marketing).
The charity therefore recorded a positive
net charitable income position of £46.130k
during the period which will be carried
forward into 2025/26 to deliver the
objectives of the Sport England lottery
funded programme.
The overall position, taking account of the
funds brought forward from 2023/2024, is
funds to be carried forward of £62.717k of
which £55k are restricted and £7.717k of

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. - **Independent** I have completed my examination.
