|Review of the charity’s<br>financial position at the end<br>of the period|Para 1.21|The charity received £65.5k of lottery<br>funding during the 2024/2025 financial<br>period relating to the first payment of a<br>Sport England funded project.  The charity<br>was awarded £359k from Sport England to<br>support the ‘Capacity, Resource and<br>Sustainability’ project which commenced<br>during the period and is to be delivered by<br>November 2027.<br>These are restricted funds specifically<br>required to deliver the objectives of the<br>programme.<br>The charity incurred £19.37k of expenditure<br>during the period, £18.5k of project delivery<br>costs and £0.870k linked to on-going<br>running costs of the charity (insurance,<br>marketing).<br>The charity therefore recorded a positive<br>net charitable income position of £46.130k<br>during the period which will be carried<br>forward into 2025/26 to deliver the<br>objectives of the Sport England lottery<br>funded programme.<br>The overall position, taking account of the<br>funds brought forward from 2023/2024, is<br>funds to be carried forward of £62.717k of<br>which £55k are restricted and £7.717k of<br>unrestricted.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 / 03 / 2025. 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the **basis of report** accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of  the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

- **Independent** I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have 

- **examiner's statement** come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

   - the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or 

   - the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or 

   - the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
