FinCHE Community Group became a CIO in December 2017.It's purpose is to raise funds to purchase play equipment for the for the youngsters of Finchingfield and Cornish Hall End. Two small villages in rural North Essex. The Covid-19 outbreak ruined 2020/21 as a year for raising funds and charitable work. |

The charity has also expanded into funding after school classes for the primary aged local children at the local primary school. An attempt to run a similar venture with Finchingfield Guildhall for Arts and Crafts had to be put on hold, when the Guildhall failed to obtain a grant. Itwas decided following the victories ofBeth Shriever at the Olympics and World Championships for BMXto revert to the Finche's original aim to build a BMX/PUMP TRACK. |

Beth lives in the village and the FinCHE gave her a grant for training before Tokyo. There is also evidence that there is a number ofpeople, of various ages, in the village, and the local area, that would like a track. They currently use other venues considerable distances away.
