## **STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT** 

**THE GRACE OF GOD MINISTRIES-UK** Is charitable organization and is registered charity with the Charity Commission UK. 

## **Aims and Objectives.** 

To advance the Christian religion in the United Kingdom and the world for the benefit of the public through holding church services, prayer meetings and lectures to enlighten others about the Christian faith. Such other charitable purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales. 

The charity is also established to provide an enabling environment for worshipping God, and to advance the Christian faith. This is achieved by evangelizing in the community, demonstrating the power of God and fellowshipping with one another, baptizing, and teaching the saints the word of God from the Bible and distributing of literature on Christian Faith. 

## **Activities** 

1. Regular outreach programmes are organized to witness to the members of the public and due to Covid-19, charitable donations were made to members, the public and local food banks in the borough. 

2. Charitable donations and provisions were also made to external partners in the faith both locally and internationally. 

3. Weekly bible studies and discussions were held on Zoom and telephone conferences. 

4. Weekly prayer meeting, praying for the community, governments, and members on Zoom and telephone conferences due to the impact of the Pandemic which affected us meting physically and prayer for made for the various conflicts in the world for God to intervene for world peace. 

5. Regular propagate the Gospel on the social media such as Facebook and Zoom were also held accordingly and meeting of every Friday before the month end. 

The following is an account of the activities, events, and general progress of **THE GRACE OF GOD MINISTRIESUK.** 

- **A.** Easter Convention- The 2022 Easter Convention, we meet Physically at the church premises and it was fully participated  and attendance was great. Theme for the convention was **“Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins” Hebrews 9:22** 

- _B._ **Anniversary – The charity celebrates its 5[th] anniversary on 23[rd] July with** the theme _**“Those who know their God shall be strong”**_ **Daniel 11:32B.** Members were richly blessed by the presence of a host of ministers’ ministration. 

- _C._ Musical Exhibition- This event was host on the 3[rd] of September with host of invited artist with the theme: **“Accept Our Praise Oh Lord” – The power of God in praise was greatly experience by those who participated.** 

- D. **Christmas Convention** -The convention was physically held at the church premises with the theme “ **And the word was made flesh”** John 1:14 It was fully participated. 

- E. 31[st] Cross Over Service was also held at the church premises and it was a glorious night for everyone both for members and visitors as it was the first-time meeting after the lockdown. 

   - 2 



- F. **Revival** – Periodic revival and retreat were held every month for the members and bible teachings ending with monthly half night on Zoom and telephone prayer conferences.

The Trustees have no beneficial interest in the charity and are not remunerated. 

## **Governance** 

The Governance body are the trustees, the current trustees are shown above. The trustees are non-executive and unpaid. The trustees meet regularly and retains full and effective control over the charity. 

## **STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES RESPONSIBLITIES** 

Under the Charities Act 1993, the trustees are required to prepare a statement of accounts for the accounting year which gives a true and fair view of the state of the church. They are required to. 

1. Select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently. 

2. Make judgments and estimates that are reasonable and prudent. 

3. State whether the applicable accounting standards have been followed. 

4. Prepare financial statements on an ongoing basis 

They are responsible for keeping proper records which disclose with reasonable accuracy the finances of the charity at any time and to ensure that such accounts comply with the charities Act 1993. They also have a responsibility to safeguard the assets of the church and take reasonable steps to detect fraud or other irregularities.

## **INDEPENDENT EXAMINER REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE GRACE OF GOD MINISTRIES-UK** 

I report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 31 December 2022, which are set out on the following pages which have been prepared on the basis of the accounting policies shown in the corresponding pages. 

Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner the trustees of the charity are responsible for the preparation of accounts: they consider that the audit requirement under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the 1993 Act)), does not apply. It is my responsibility to: 

Examine the accounts under section 43(3) of the 1993 Act. Follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners made under section 43(7)(b) of the 1993 Act, and State whether matters have come to my attention. 

## **BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINERS REPORT** 

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Direction given by the Charity Commissioner’s. An examination included a review of the accounting records kept. It also includes consideration of any unusual items of disclosures in the accounts. And seeking examinations from you as trustees concerning any matters. 

The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and as a result I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. 

## **Independent Examiner’s Statement** 

In accordance with my examination, no matter has come to my attention: 

**1.** which gives me a reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements: 

   - to keep accounting record in accordance with section 41 of the 1993 Act and 

   - to prepare which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirements of the 1993 Act. 

   - Have not been met. 

2. To which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

## **Notes to the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2022** 

## **1. ACCOUNTING POLICIES** 

## **Accounting convention** 

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008), the Charities Act 2011 and the requirements of the Statement of Recommended Practice, Accounting and Reporting by Charities. 

## **Incoming resources** 

All incoming resources are included on the Statement of Financial Activities when the charity is legally entitled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. 

## **2. Resources expended.** 

Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category. Where costs cannot be directly attributed to particular headings, they have been allocated to activities on a basis consistent with the use of resources. 

## **3. Tangible fixed assets** 

Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates to write off each asset over its

## **Taxation** 

The charity is exempt from tax on its charitable activities. 

## **Fund accounting** 

Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees. 

Restricted funds can only be used for restricted purposes within the objects of the charity. Restrictions arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for restricted purposes. 

Further explanation of the nature and purpose of each fund is included in the notes to the financial statements. 

**4. Creditors:** Rent of £1,500 and Bookkeeping of £567 

## **5. TRUSTEES' REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS** 

There were no trustees' remuneration or other benefits for the year ended 31 December 2019 nor for the year ended 31 December 2021. 

## **Trustees' expenses** 

There were no trustees’ expenses paid for the year ended 31 December 2021 nor for the year ended 31 December 2022.
