Statement Regarding Non-Submission of Accounts
This statement is provided in respect of Levenshulme Amateur Boxing Club (Charity No. 1176066) to explain the non-submission of accounts for the past five financial years.
The charity was originally managed by our late father and brother. Following our father’s terminal illness and subsequent passing in 2022, the gym ceased operations and has remained inactive for the past 5 years. During this period, the charity has not received any income, grants, or loans, and no expenditure has been incurred.
The current trustees have not been actively involved due to the charity’s dormancy and are being replaced as part of the process to restore proper governance and restart the local community sports provision.
We intend to submit nil returns for the relevant financial years to regularise the charity’s position and ensure full compliance with Charity Commission requirements going forward.
