Chair’s Report November 2023

Although a quiet year for fundraising Memorial donations from Martin’s funeral reached nearly £2000. This was a mark of Martin’s continued influence on the Trust. With the help of volunteers we sold books during the walking and book festival. We had a large number of applications and our grants made a difference to a much wider group of young people. This included youth services, riding for the disabled and young people who needed specialist equipment. We also continue to make an annual donation to Friedreichs Ataxia towards research. Drugs for treatment are currently awaiting approval for use in the UK.

Treasurers Report November 2023

Although a low amount was raised during the year we are back on schedule in 2024 to re-open our book shop in the Trinity Church. The accounts as audited by Ian Crisop Accountancy are submitted for approval.
