We operate in an area wlth lots of needs. eSp￿iallY in the area of yotrth *iolence. poverty and drug
abuse. We aim to make a real difference in Hèckneythrouth enCou￿1n￿3nd suptKJrbng relevant
projects.

Akorn will continue to work hard to make a difference to the local community.
Akorn has been awarded funding towards Setting up some of the above projects.
We operate in an area with lots of needs. especialty in the area of youth violencei poverty and dnjg
buse. We aim to make a real differeft￿ in Hackneythrough encour4ing and supporting relevant
projects.
A very drfficult year. but we still believe we can make a difference.

ended 31 March 2024 which are set out on pages 7-10.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charFWs trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordano wtth the requirements of the Chartties Act 2011 (Ihe Affj.
I report in respect of my examination of the Trusvs accy)unts ￿rried out under section 145
of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable
Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Ac£
Independent examiners statsment
I have completed my examination. I confimi that no material matters have come lo my
attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in. any
material resFed:
the awounting reo)rds were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the
Chatitses Act", or
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records,. or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirenEnts ￿)n￿rnIng the fomi
and content of accounts set out in the Chartbes (Accounts and Reports)
