SUPPORTING CAPE TOWN OPERA IN PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARTICIPATION IN OPERA IN SOUTH AFRICA, PARTICULARLY AMONGST COMMUNITIES WHICH ARE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED, IN SUCH WAYS AS SHALL BE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES

**Activities:** The UK Friends of Cape Town Opera exists to raise funds, in accordance with its charitable objectives,  for Cape Town Opera's  youth development and education programme which provides opportunities for participation in opera in South Africa particularly among communities which are socially and economically disadvantaged. The UK Trust independently evaluates all support sent to Cape Town Opera
