England & Wales. The governing document of the charity is the constitution of
the CIO as approved by the Charity Commission in England & Wales (CCEW).
There are no restrictions in the governing documents on the operation of the
Charity or on its investment powers other than those imposed by Charity IAW.

New trustees are elected on the basis of the contribution that they will make to
the governance of the organisation and the skills that they will contribute. They
are provided with copies of the Ch￿lty Commission's guidance to trustees and
given an introduction to the activities of the charity by the existing b0￿d.

Existing trustees are provided with training as and when required.
Organtsatlonal strncture and declslon maklng
The B0￿d of trustees is headed by a Chairnian, the Secretary to the Trust
and a Financial Administrator. All the present employees of the charity are
voluntary workers. The trustees are responsible for makin
all decisions
regardmg allocatson of fund and activities. New Covenant Shurch, Lee Green
consists of a leadership team of two Pastors and three Elders. Within the church,
there are 10 departments and committees, with each having a head of
department. The various departments and committees include the Pastoral
Team, Choir, Welfare, Children Department, Youths, Young Adults, Ushers,
Technical Team, Prayer and Intercessory Te8rn, Welcome and Follow Up Team.
Covenant Men, Covenant Women, Evangelism, Finance, Discipleship Team,
Summer Camp Committee, Building Committee and the Outreach Ministry
(namely Benefit Advice)

a.) Place of worshlp and the ACti￿tIeS
It pursues these objects by the operation of a Christian worship centre at I I I
113 burnt Ash Road Lee Green London SE12 8RA through Sunday celebration
services, Children and youth ministry, Telephone conference/Zoom prayer
sessions.
b.) Evangelism
Neighbourhood walk session once a week, walking around Ike Green and
speaking about Jesus and distributing Christian tracts. Providing meals to the
public during our annual evangelistic week where music is provided, and people
are ministered to. We had trip to south end on sea in 2023 to minister to people
in south end area gospel music were provide and engaging with other people met
at the sea side sharing the word of God.
c.) Chlldren and youth mlnlstry
Every Sunday during celebration service, our growing youth ministry teaching
about God's love, children engaged and they were taught how to show love to
others in the community. Children's ministry every Sunday using Christian
materials to teach them which involves praying, good behaviours and practice
Christian values.
d.) Men and Women mln18try
New covenant women ministry meet regularly for meeting for outreach and
evangelism. Men ministry Will be restarted soon.

Church members and member ol the public that needs counselling were offered
through telephone and physical meeting. Visits the elderly and minister to them,
counselling for the sick people . wulnerable, terminally ill, widow and family with
challenges.

a.) Community engagements programmes with local churches in promoting
Christian faith.
b.) Partnership with other churches, other new covenant Churches; Eltham
branch, Lewisham, and Abbey wood.

Grants are made to other charitable bodies. The church supports missionary
organisations and other missions and projects within and outside the UIL The
church also provides support to menbers provides support to members ol the
congregation (at the discretion of the trustees) who are in need.

The church is grateful for the comznitment and efforts of its volunteers who are
involved in services provision. The church has over 10 volunteers COUUllitted to
working in various departments vrithin the church. The church continues to
dispense the service of heads of departments and ministers to ensure that the
best value is derived from the sterling efforts of the volunteers.

The trustees are pleased to report that the church continued to be successful
spiritually by ministering to many people in prayer and wclfare. The church has
improved in membership strength and is increasingly reaching out to the
community.
Revlew of transactlons and finanelal

During the year, income of £16,83 11£10,540 in 20221 was received as voluntary
donatsons. The net movement in funds for the period, as shown in the statement
of Financial activities, for the period was a Surplus 9.522 (Loss £1,322 in
2022). The value of the New Covenant Church t£e Green net assets at 3 1st
December 2023 is £16,4841£11,885 in 2022}.

ments
The charity aims at building on its current achievement in effectively spreading
the ethos, love and hope that Christian faith offers. It also aims at building upon
its current efforts of community involvement. in its bid to make our community
and the larger world a better place for all

the Statement of Recommended Practice, 'Accounting and Reporting by

summary of the principal accounting policies, which have been applied

include the results ol the Ch￿Ity'S operations, which are described in the

objects of the charity. Expenditure, which meets these criteria, will be identified
