Our Church Hall is an Important fa¢lity for the local community and lettings have induded Karate, Art
gr￿j￿, Nara)tiCs Anonymous and Hlate5 as regukr lettlngs. In April 2025 we welcomed a monthly
Sound Bath refiettion group and In addltion y￿ have had several ad hoc lettir¥Js all wntributing to tF
Income of the church.
As a Church, we continue to the ask a key qL*Stlon, how does the hospltality we ofv thrO￿h all the
community events emt(xfy our faith reflecting what we believe atout God. When we host an even¢
we remember to ask, how we through what we offer tojayi refiect Jesus to those who come
through the d￿rs?
Our Involvement with St John s ￿001 is imp)rtanL a key part of tr* communty. Our minister and 3
addiuonal foundayon governors fomi part of the governing body. As part of our work therefore we are
frequently represented within the SCI￿01 community. On the 1st September 2024 Mrs. Joanna Owen
began as headtead*r at SL John's Khty)l. We are de1￿hted that Mrs Owen has a keen degre
to develop the links beN¥een Church and Schrd to make them mutually benefiaal and She has regulady
been a visitor to Hlltstde. Mrs. Qwen has been an asset to the school and has a faith that in9)ires both
the th]ol and the links with local community.

that everyone one is feeling at home, together with the challervJe5 ￿thin our own operating budget
continue to be a challervje.
The Hi115ide Hub which stsrted in November 2022 contlnues to thrivei providing frterKJship and much
to over 30 peoF4e each week.
This year we wlll be f￿sIng (fft redevelopment of the Church Hall to update and Improve r￿llItIeS for
both the Churth and ILKal communlty.
As plan ahead, we reed to look ahead to our futu￿ vlabllity, wlth a reallsttc aNI honest look at tr
dewwraphics of our congregation. We are aware of many chaliervJes to churches across the
denomlnatlon and as plan, how we serve the present age at such a tlme as thls In thls context.
We ￿lebrate what we can do, acknowtedglng this may look drastlcally dlfferent from prewous
generatlon% As we look to the fijture we need to thlnk ab￿Jt what m6ght be able to help us grow both
spiritually ar¥J nuffÉriolty and this included setting up a growih group at the of June 2025.
