Resourcing and initiating mission. **K I N E T I C N E T W O R K | A N N U A L R E P O R T 2 0 2 5** **0 3** ## **TRUSTEES’ MESSAGE** Following the 2023 Life in the Spirit Conference, 25 senior leaders met at High Leigh to pray and discern together what the Lord was saying to us about the future of Kinetic Network. In light of those conversations and subsequent prophetic words, significant changes were made. The strong sense of the High Leigh gathering was that Kinetic Network should evolve into a committed family of leaders and churches, believing that God will bring transformation through His Spirit and His Word. Three enablers of that future were identified, namely, to: support and train leaders - strengthen and plant churches resource and facilitate mission Furthermore, the commitment of those 25 leaders to prayer and financial support prompted the trustees to take the following steps: - 1.Launch of Kinetic Network Leaders' Conference in February 2024, refocusing us a conference for leaders in churches and charities who are committed to, or interested in exploring a Spirit and Word ministry - 2.Engagement of Gareth Lloyd-Jones, Senior Pastor of Ridgeway Community Church, on a 0.5 FTE basis to lead and develop Kinetic Network’s offering. This involves growing the number of pastors, churches and leaders within the KN family and facilitating more effective support and service of one another across our family of churches. **K I N E T I C N E T W O R K | A N N U A L R E P O R T 2 0 2 5** **0 4** ## **MESSAGE FROM GARETH LLOYD-JONES** **Gareth Lloyd-Jones** Kinetic Network Team Leader I am struck how often God instructs his people to look back before telling them to focus on the future. Even the oft-quoted command to “forget the former things” (Isaiah 43:18) is preceded by a reminder of God’s faithfulness to prior generations. Indeed, Paul employs a similar pattern when encouraging the church at Philippi to “press on” and “win the prize” (Philippians 3:13-14). It is just over twelve months since I had the privilege of being ‘released’ to commit half my time to help establish Kinetic Network as a family of leaders and churches. This time of prayerful exploration and conversation has of course provided reminders of God’s faithfulness in the past. However, as we look forward together, I have an increased sense of excitement. My conviction is that as we grow, relationships will deepen and resources increase. Finally, I trust that as God moves in our nation, we will remain faithful to God’s Word and be open to His Spirit. By doing so I am convinced that we will see radical transformation in and through our lives, churches and wider ministries. **K I N E T I C N E T W O R K | A N N U A L R E P O R T 2 0 2 5** **0 5** ## **WHAT WE DO** ## **Conference** Annual Leading in Spirit and Word conference for leaders of KN churches, leaders of churches associated with KN, and Christian charities and organisations. ## **Hubs** Seven leaders and pastors’ hubs, meeting mainly online, but occasionally in person. These hubs provide monthly encouragement and accountability for so many. Additionally, they provide safe spaces for pastors to discuss and process theological and pastoral questions. ## **Peer support** For those pastors who feel isolated. Although many find themselves part of local networks, they long for fellowship with those committed to Spirit and Word. ## **Online leadership forums** Quarterly, online Leadership Forums for those leaders and pastors associated with or partnering with KN. Speakers have included members of the KN team as well as national and internationally known speakers. **K I N E T I C N E T W O R K | A N N U A L R E P O R T 2 0 2 5** **0 6** ## **WHAT WE DO** ## **Newsletter** Including job adverts - e-newsletter distributed monthly. This newsletter is increasingly profiling encouragements from different KN churches. It is also being used to provide a noticeboard for job and ministry opportunities. ## **Kinetic Network Academy** Bespoke leadership training, now developed into the Emerging Leaders programme started in October 2025. ## **Shared resources and guest speakers** Gareth has had the opportunity to preach at a different KN church every month. This sometimes includes investing in whole leadership teams, meeting with elderships, as well as Sunday morning ministry, providing real opportunities to transfer learning and spread good practice between KN churches. ## **Prayer gatherings** Online gatherings to join with each other in prayer, organised by Meryl McKean from Three Rivers Church Bedford. **K I N E T I C N E T W O R K | A N N U A L R E P O R T 2 0 2 5** **0 7** ## **OUR FINANCES** In the past year we have received regular income from five churches and ten individual leaders across Kinetic Network, with two additional churches commencing financial support since our June year end. We are deeply grateful to those churches and individuals who have expressed their partnership in financial support. We knew that building a financially self-sustaining network would take time and our investment is an expression of faith, underpinned by the convictions of those 25 senior leaders who gathered at High Leigh in 2023. Our investment is in three areas: **1** Employment - of Gareth Lloyd-Jones to lead Kinetic Network and Clare Rudland to support our development **2** Subsidised Training – our fees for the Emerging Leaders’ programme are substantially lower than the cost of design an delivery Affordable Engagement – we do not charge for Forum events **3** or Hub participation and offer an annual conference at an affordable price point We spent £11,000 more than we received last year, with the shortfall financed from reserves. These are now exhausted, and Kinetic Network is being sustained by interest free loans from trustees. We are thankful for early interest from several churches and plan to open bookings by March 2026. ## **Monthly Pastors/ Leaders Hubs** For pastors and employed ministry staff who are part of Kinetic Network, along with others who share our values and vision. These hubs are designed to build strong and accountable relationships, offering both personal and ministry support. ## **Quarterly Leadership Forums** These are an additional opportunity for those in existing hubs to receive input from a range of speakers from both inside and outside Kinetic Network. Subjects covered are pertinent to spiritual formation and practical ministry. ## **Annual Leaders’ Conference** We are thrilled that the Leaders Conference, 2nd- 4th March 2026, is booking up quickly. Our hope is to therefore increase capacity to make it available to more pastors and leaders. **K I N E T I C N E T W O R K | A N N U A L R E P O R T 2 0 2 5** **1 0** ## **FUTURE PLANS** ## **Additional Focus on:** ## **Increase of Partner Churches** We are aware that meaningful growth must come through relationship as much as shared values and vision. We are therefore mindful of the need to build carefully, thoughtfully and prayerfully. As churches are added, and relationships are strengthened, we trust that further resources will be released. ## **Sharing and Increasing Resources** We trust that over the next twelve months churches and leaders will each benefit by using and sharing the gifts already present within the KN family (this may be realised in the form of mentoring, online support, or ministry weekends etc.) Additionally, we will look to develop new training programmes and specialist resources. ## **Wider Leadership Team** We are looking to build stronger support team around Gareth in addition to the KN trustees. This will provide more diversity of gifts and greater availability for the benefit of partner leaders and churches. ## **Moving into Mission** We are thankful to have the opportunity to Support and Train Leaders along with Strengthening Churches. However, we are mindful of our commitment to Plant Churches as well as Resource and Facilitate Mission.
