In July. the IMAM o￿an153￿0n UK commemoraled Muharram wlth ten e¥enlng programs to honour the
Trdgedy of Karbala,, a signlficant event In Shla Islam. These programs, SUPPOrted by cornmunlty
sponsor5hlp* covered costs lor the guest speaker and pn>vided rneals for attendees.
Throughout the review period, Several P￿1￿m$ were conducted to address various aspects of phy51cal and
emotional well-beingwithln the local community. The IMAM Organisation remains committed to serving as
a vital community platform. continuing to host numeTOUS ontrday events airned at benefiting the local
population.
Achlevements and Perfonnance
The outcome from period under review is seen as a posillveac¢omplishment following ihe easing of Covld-
19 restrlctions a5 the Charity successfully hosted nearly all rnalor Islamic events and social programmes
within the premises.
The revival of the Salurday Madrassah following Cowd-19 lockdown has contributed to our ongoing misslon
of enhanclng children's advanctment in education and ethics.
The reintrodurtion of Friday prayer5, weekly and monthly suppli¢ation5. ha5 created a powerful Sense of
community bonding. 5tren8thening of faith and a sense of Identity where particlpants ¢an shale values and
beliets, and learn frorn each other.
The reopeningof the building's doors has serytd as a valuable hub fortht local Shia community. addre55in8
a wide range of needs.
Financlal Review
The primary sourte of Income for the chèrity derives from fee5 collected through the Saturday Madrassah
classes. supplemented by generous donations. predominantly from the Shia community. The charity is
committed to maintaining fiscal respon51blllty by keeplng expenses to a minimum and does not hold any
long-term investments.
Wè also managed to pay off quite a significant amount of the mortgage las a lump sum) to ieduce the
monthly outyoing mortgage payment further.
The trustets have conducted a thorough review of the charity's accounts and are confidenl In the charity's
financial stsbility during this period. In light of the completion of ihe building purchase and the subsequent
increase in the ¢ost of living in recent years, the charity ha5 adopled a cautious approach to fundraising.
Thi5 strategy aims to minimize the financial burden on the cornmunity while ensuring continued support for
its Inltiatives.
