TABERNACLE OF DAVID GLOBAL MERCY MISSION
REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30[th] June 2021
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
The continued Covid- 19 pandemic up till May 2021 was a challenge and as such the work of the organisation was at a reduced scale as its pushes on with technology. TOD’s work on social media is gradually getting better as its preaching and teaching and monthly activities of prayer and fasting and sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is alive.
The pandemic saw TOD increased use of online platforms covering social issues in befriending, health awareness, wellbeing, and mental health and adhering to Covid-19 rules. These discussions and conversations were helpful to our audience and with renewed sense of hope.
The organisation continues to develop relationships and the trustees participated in online programmes for the elderly and youths. The report from members and the public are encouraging as (TOD) was able to serve the public through electronic, social media and innovation voluntarily. The organisation is pressing on to partner and collaborate with organisations with similar goals and objectives.
The Trustees reviewed their internal policies and set up goals and targets for the year ahead. The organisation is aware of the risks to which the Charity is exposed and as witnessed by the pandemic. However, the trustees are developing new plans and strategies to mitigate these risks.
