|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity�s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20||**The Office for National Statistics reports**<br>**that 3,621 babies were born in**<br>**Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole**<br>**and 2,638 were born in Dorset in 2020.**<br>**T�a��� a ���a� �f 6,259 bab�e�, ���c�**<br>**means that 2,128 babies in our area are**<br>**at risk of insecure attachment every**<br>**year, with all the repercussions that will**<br>**impact their health, wellbeing, academic**<br>**and economic achievements as well as**<br>**future relationships.**<br>**In our fourth year, despite complications**<br>**relating to Covid, DorPIP has continued**<br>**to support families without disruption.**<br>**We have helped families to flourish in**<br>**Dorset and surrounding areas, by**<br>**providing parent infant relationship**<br>**services from conception to age two,**<br>**both online and in person. These**<br>**services have included:**<br>�<br>**One to one Parent Infant**<br>**Psychotherapy sessions**<br>�<br>**Attachment focused infant**<br>**massage classes**<br>�<br>**Facilitated Peer support groups**<br>**Beneficiaries**<br>**340 individuals have benefited directly**<br>**from our services in the past year.**<br>**Outcomes include significant**<br>**improvements in:-�a�e���� relationships**<br>**with their infants, their ability &**<br>**confidence to be a parent and their**<br>**mental health.**<br>**Parents report infant�s improved social**<br>**and emotional development, mental**<br>**health, and wellbeing.**<br>**Summary**<br>**Mental health problems during**<br>**childhood and adolescence are**<br>**estimated to cost between £11,030 and**<br>**£59,130 annually per child in the UK.**<br>**Evidence-based, targeted investment in**<br>**��� bab�e�� de�e����e�� b���g�**<br>**economic benefits. The short-term costs**<br>**are more than offset by the immediate**<br>**and long-term benefits.**<br>**T� �a��e a�d ���e�� �� bab�e�� e������a�**<br>**wellbeing and development in the first**<br>**1001 days, gives every child a strong**<br>**foundation in the earliest years of life.**|
