Summary of Main Activities
It has been another very successful year, with lots of new events, raising valuable funds. We kicked off with a fantastic Bingo Night. Then we introduced our FUN'ding Friday Tuck Shops, which ran throughout the year. We saw the return of our fabulous Xmas Fete, where we had lots of activities and games to play, as well as a Santa's Grotto and a Raffle too. We also raised funds by helping with the Rotary Club's Santa Float. We again held our Break The Rules Day, plus three School Discos. We enjoyed celebrating both Mother's and Father's Days, with our Wonderful Women's and Marvellous Men's sales, and added in a World Book Day brekkie and the sale of Red Nose Day noses too. We held Easter and Church Fete Tombolas, a May Day Raffle and our wonderful May Day Fete! We also sold ice lollies every week throughout the Summer term, (at our ever popular 'Ice Lolly Friday's') and finished off the year by taking charge of the annual Fairport Music Festival's 'Scarecrow Trail' again. With these funds, we were able to contribute towards various things on the school staff's 'Wish Lists', through our Class Funding Pots, and we contributed towards the cost of Coach Hire, so that every class could go on a Class Trip(s). We were also able to provide a new Hall Speaker System and new SEND resources, for all the children to benefit from and enjoy. We again were able to help the school to improve their Outdoor Areas further and to provide even more Outdoor Play Equipment, including for their much-loved Forest School area. In addition, we were able to give the children a few extra treats throughout the year, including: Presents from Santa; Presents for the Year 6 Leavers and their Cygnets buddies, as well as Ice Lollies for all, on the last day of term; and Thank You Presents for the wonderful teachers too.

Reserves policy
The reserves that we have set aside provide financial stability and the means for achieving our objectives. We intend to maintain our reserves at a level which is at least 6 months of expenditure. We intend to use the reserves for the benefit of the school children, including contributions to support the school staff's 'wish list'. The trustees review the amount of reserves that are required to ensure that they are adequate to fulfil our continuing obligations.
